Rtveli tour in Kakheti is a family holiday. Traditionally, all relatives of the winemaking family come to it. The berries are picked from early morning until evening, when the grapes are pressed either by foot in large vats or in special presses.

Day 1: Meeting at the airport. Excursion around Tbilisi. Tbilisi.

Meeting at the airport and accommodation at the hotel.

Tbilisi tour. Starts at 13-00.

The historical center of the city: Flea Market ("Dry Bridge") - here you can buy souvenirs, antiques and all this at reasonable prices; Rustaveli Avenue - the Vorontsov estate, Freedom Square, etc.; Holy Trinity Cathedral - the largest temple complex in Georgia.
Wine tasting in a 17th century wine cellar.
Old Town: Sharden Street - many cozy restaurants and wine shops; Sioni Cathedral - here is the relic of the entire Christian world, the Cross of St. Nino; Metekhi Church - a beautiful view of the Kura; Then we will take the Cable Car to the Narikala Fortress , from where we will have a beautiful view and go down into the canyon with a waterfall.
Lunch at the Alanya restaurant - Khachapuri, Chakhokhbili, Chakapuli and much more (included) .

Day 2: Kakheti Mountains. Alaverdi Temple.

Breakfast. Check out from the hotel.

We start our journey by visiting the Ujarma Fortress (the Fortress was one of the main outposts in protecting the country from periodic invasions of Arab and Persian troops). Gombori Pass - enjoy the view of the Caucasus Mountains and the Alazani Valley.

We will also visit:

Alaverdi Cathedral is a cathedral of the first quarter of the 11th century and the largest monastery complex in Kakheti.
Georgian farmstead (Lunch) - we will visit an old house and a wine cellar. We will taste wine and chacha. We will try local dishes prepared according to traditional recipes (included).
Telavi city - fortress of Erekle II, excursion along cozy streets, Mimino airport.
Accommodation at the hotel.
Dinner with traditional dishes and of course wine (included).

Day 3: Grape harvest.

Breakfast. We wake up in a great mood.

First we will visit the canyon of the Sinora River . Here we will see beautiful views of waterfalls and rocks. Those who wish will be able to swim in the freezing mountain water.

We pick grapes, sing songs, and then crush them and enjoy the process.

Georgian Feast (Included). + Master class on making churchkhela and Georgian bread. Toastmaster competition.

Day 4: Continuation of the excursion around Kakheti. The city of Sighnaghi.

For breakfast we eat traditional hangover soup Khash (khashi) or chikhirtma . We drink cold chacha and relieve hangover fatigue.

Leaving the hotel:

Gremi is the ancient capital of the Kakhetian kingdom.
Tsinandali is the estate of the princes Chavchavadze.
Shumi Winery - tasting and museum tour.
Sighnaghi - Bodbe Monastery, where St. Nino rests, and there is also a healing font. Walk along the fortress walls.

Transfer to Tbilisi. Accommodation at the hotel. Free time.

Day 5: Travel to southern Georgia. Vardzia cave complex.

The town of Asureti - there used to be a large settlement of Germans here. Houses, a winery and a church remind us of this. We will have a unique opportunity to talk to a descendant of these people and taste the unique wine of Asuretuli.
Parovani Lakes is the largest freshwater lake in Georgia. At its bottom lies an ancient city.
The Poca (Foka) Monastery is one of the places where Saint Nino preached. Now they make wonderful cheese here using different technologies.
Picnic on the lake shore: cheese, bread, vegetables. Let's admire the beautiful views.
The Vardzia cave complex is a huge number of caves in the rock. Previously, there was a city and a monastery here. You can see this by seeing the unique artifacts.
We bathe in a thermal spring (optional).
Accommodation at a hotel in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 6: Borjomi National Park. Tbilisi.

Breakfast. Check out from the hotel.

Borjomi Park - a walk, mineral water tasting, a ride on a cable car (not included). Swimming in a thermal pool (it's about 2 km to get there).
Return to Tbilisi. Gala dinner with national dances and music (included).

Day 7: Transfer to the airport.
